Highlights:

1. Compliance, surveillance, and technology experts across multiple regions submitted responses on how they’re handling compliance within the industry’s shifting technological climate

2. Despite enforcements indicating the faultiness of channel bans and feedback suggesting skepticism about their effectiveness, 44% of compliance teams continue to ban WhatsApp and WeChat

3. Since 2023, the use of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) methods has increased – jumping from 51% to 67%

4. With 55% of firms sharing that they’re viewing social media as a potential compliance risk, this is a matter to watch

5. While 42% of global firms shared that they will be implementing AI over the course of the next year, North American firms express more hesitancy, with only 33% considering implementing the technology
