On December 9, 2021, a serious vulnerability was identified, affecting the Log4j library (CVE-2021-44228), which is described in the following article: Apache Logging Services alert.

Global Relay Services Alert

As previously stated, our highest priority is the security and integrity of our systems, data, and customer data. We continue to have NO evidence to suggest our systems are being or have ever been compromised by the Log4j vulnerability.

As of December 31, 2021, we have mitigated 100% of all hosts that have direct or indirect internet access, and have put a number of mitigating controls in place.

Our 24×7 Cyber Security Operations Center continues to monitor for malicious traffic related to this vulnerability.

Based on threat intelligence, we will continue to assess the impact on Global Relay’s systems and mitigate as required.
